This project was born from a beautiful cultural union—the blending of Caribbean and Mexican influences through a len of simplicity and comfort. Our mission was to create a home that felt both modern and deeply rooted in the warmth of island life. We developed a single-story dwelling centered on an efficient layout, balancing the energy of family life with the need for quiet, private retreats. At the heart of the home is a large patio which acts as an intimate social anchor where all spaces meet. To ensure this outdoor 'living room' is usable year-round, we integrated deep cantilevered roofs that offer protection from the elements without sacrificing the breeze. The home’s angled rooflines, rich wooden textures, and intentional shading, is a cohesive celebration of culture and comfort, delivering a sophisticated yet relaxed aesthetic driven by the human experience that our clients were truly proud to call their future home."
