Perched at the summit of Lucas Street in St. George’s, this site offers what is arguably one of the most picturesque vistas we have encountered in our careers—a breathtaking tapestry of undulating lush hills, organic coastal forms, and the deep blue of the Caribbean Sea. Our design response was deeply intentional, balancing the client’s lifestyle expectations with a profound appreciation for the amazing view on the horizon. We actively listened and curated a strategic flow that supports the family’s daily rhythm, from the entry to exit while also considering those guest who may visit. These spaces all celebrated expansive view through the utilizing expansive glazing to ensure the view remains a constant, living presence throughout the home. Inspired by the surrounding terrain, these natural environmental elements have directly impacted the architecture of the home, embracing stone and wood textures with warm and organic palette. The home becomes an abstract, meaningful extension of the landscape itself—a quiet, impactful bridge between contemporary living and the natural world.
